Heating Grate and Threshold-Major repair

Uncovered Damage.JPG

Heating Grate.JPG
Doorway was once an outside access before new a addition was built. Unknowning new homeowner learned subfloor plywood was severly water damaged and needed replacement. This was thought to be a simple job to add an Oak heating grate.

Heat grate installed and a hew threshold to the new addition added. While this turned out to be major undertaking the bottom line is the homeowner has a better subfloor, floor and transition than existed even after the remodeler was finsihed his job years ago. The homeowners are thrilled with the outcome. Sometimes we turn lemons into lemonaide!
