Old growth random width oak floors stripped clean and being restained rosewood. This it the first of many rooms to be recondetioned in this grand old home. The effort is part of major renovation project we are proud to be a part of.

Doorway was once an outside access before new a addition was built. Unknowning new homeowner learned subfloor plywood was severly water damaged and needed replacement. This was thought to be a simple job to add an Oak heating grate.

Heat grate installed and a hew threshold to the new addition added. While this turned out to be major undertaking the bottom line is the homeowner has a better subfloor, floor and transition than existed even after the remodeler was finsihed his job years ago. The homeowners are thrilled with the outcome. Sometimes we turn lemons into lemonaide!

2.25 in. Brazilian Cherry and White Oak hearth wrap. This is a retrofitted design cut out of existing floor. To the right of this effort is the doorway repair and transition just viewed. The homeowner's mother loved our work!
New boards installed .JPG
New Oak boards now take the place of badly scarred, oversanded and pitted flooring. The process we use to execute the repair is called "weaving."

Three Eighth X 2 in. Oak flooring over original Douglas Fir sanded and finished with three coats of polyurethane

This floor is the original flooring in the home. This room was once used and abused. It was sanded even and square and three coats of Satin polyurethane finsihed the job. Homeowner was thrilled!
White Oak.JPG
Customer wanted a new floor in kitchen area that has already level with existing Oak Flooring. We installed White Oak over exisitng subfloor and custom built transition strips to ease the flow from one room to the other.
